Values and Ethos
- The Christian faith will be taught and Christian values will be reflected in the life of the school. Every pupil will be valued and each one will be expected to care for others.
- The quality of the corporate life of the school should be such that all the children will develop a real sense of their individual worth and values for life.
- In this secure, happy and supportive school each child should flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.
Aims
We seek to:
- Create a well-ordered school, with high standards of behaviour and sound teaching and learning.
- Encourage high standards in literacy and numeracy, and a variety of subjects and activities to ensure the development of a well-rounded individual.
- Ensure that individual abilities and talents are recognised and fostered and met with the appropriate teaching and learning opportunities.
- Encourage consideration for others, based on courtesy, good behaviour and mutual respect.
- Introduce children to the Christian faith through teaching, worship and example.
